ARC has been awarded a major contract by Total in Paris to carry out Safety Engineering Design Studies for the EGINA FPSO Project. The scope includes Fire Risk Analysis, Explosion Modelling, Gas Dispersion Modelling, Quantitative Risk Assessment and a range of other studies with the objective of concluding a number of design options.
The EGINA project is located in the Nigerian part of the Atlantic Ocean in a water depth of approximately 1500m. ARC has been involved in the project since 2008, carrying out concept risk assessments. |
